Thomas The FSC tutors over 72,000 students a year on field course activities at field centres throughout the UK. It is a registered charity, with a teaching staff of over 270 (fte). The main areas of activity include providing facilities for schools, colleges and universities to undertake fieldwork studies in relatively remote areas throughout the UK. Adult courses are also very popular. The FSC also provides specialised In-Service Training for teachers and lecturers.
