Plas Caerdeon. This field study centre is owned by Liverpool Hope University College. This building was used on the North Wales part of the Intensive Programme. It was constructed in the mid-nineteenth century when it was visited by a large number of eminent academics, including Charles Darwin, who wrote part of the Descent of Man staying here. |
