Students' Fieldwork Code of Practice This is an example of a code of practice that could be used with students taking part in fieldwork activities. 1. Behaviour Students engaged in fieldwork should behave at all times with due care and consideration for their own and others' safety. Attention should be paid to appropriate conduct and adherence to the rules and regulations of residential field centres.  2. Safety Students must ensure that they have read and understood the risk assessment, and must follow the advice and safe practice therein.
